Nomination for AFSA Chapter 554 President and Vice

We need nominations for the President and Vice positions.  If you are interested in the positions or know someone who would do a great job.  Please submit names (click to e-mail) no later than Tuesday 27 Sept.

We are holding a special election next week at are monthly meeting at Bob Hope Village on Thursday 30 Sept from 1730-1900.

Volunteers Needed for POW/MIA Booth

Chapter Members,
I only have three volunteers so far, I really need your assistance, here is an opportunity to us to get the word out about AFSA and what the organization is doing for our enlisted force.

Looking for volunteers to work the POW/MIA booth at the BX on 17 September 2010.  We will be selling 2010 POW/MIA coins.  There will be three different shifts:

0900-1100

  • SMSgt Sopshier
  • SMSgt Hitt
  • Vacant

1100-1300

  • CMSgt (ret) Blodgett
  • Vacant
  • Vacant

1300-1500

  • Vacant
  • Vacant
  • Vacant

Note: If we don’t get enough volunteers by Wednesday @ 1500, I will have to cancel the booth.

Need Volunteers to Assist Teresa Village

Chapter 554,

I am looking for 10 volunteers to assist Teresa Village (AFEV) in painting their parking lot curbs, you can make it a family affair, bring your spouse and children.  All supplies are at Teresa Village, they just need help painting.
